The Milky Truth

Effective Ways to Reduce Intestinal Cramping After Eating

The majority of mammals cease to make lactase after they are weaned; however humans continue to make it throughout life.

Causes and pathogenesis
Lactose is really a macromolecular carbohydrate made up of two molecules, certainly one of glucose and certainly one of galactose. For lactose to get distributed around the intestine, it should be first split into the above molecules contained. The enzyme that converts lactose is called lactase, and it's also situated on the surface of intestinal mucosa cells. Lactose intolerance is brought on by deficiency of this enzyme, or its low activity on lactose.
Lactase (the enzyme) deficiency can happen in three situations:

Congenital lactose intolerance requires the lack of the lactase enzyme at birth, as a result of mutations in the gene responsible with encoding lactase. It can be a very rare form of deficiency and symptoms begins right after birth.

We truly realize where milk originates from, right? It originates from Mom. Is your mom a four-legged half-ton pasture animal? Yeah, mine neither. Nature originally intended that people get milk from mothers of our own species yet for some reason we'll drink the milk of just about anything with teats. Sounds strange when I input it like that right? Well it happens to be. Most mammals usually do not go after milk after dark weaning stage at infancy. However, humans drink it through the cradle for the grave. If you have ever had a child you will know humans can't even tolerate cow's milk until these are no less than 12 months old. Why? Because WE AREN'T COWS!
